I’m so proud to join the world-renowned, Grammy-winning Metropole Orchestra for last-minute PR in the US, UK and additional European territories to celebrate their 80th anniversary album Arakatak. Compositions by Donny McCaslin, Vince Mendoza, Morris Kliphuis, Tineke Postma and other prominent names in European jazz led to 8 compositions that celebrate the group’s firm foundations for the future.

Arakatak was presented on March 6, its release date, in a unique 360* setting at De Hallen in Amsterdam. The audience was in the middle, with the Orchestra around it, immersing itself not only in unique compositions but also in 80 years of musical history. That Jazz Girl is immensely proud to represent this project in the US and the UK!
